Project Overview

A mobile video-on-demand concept that treats browsing as the entertainment. The design leans into full-bleed poster art, cinematic transitions, and a discovery model built around mood and moment rather than genre grids — a response to the flatness of most streaming apps circa 2020.

Role & Responsibilities

End-to-end UX and visual design. Explored the browse / detail / player loop, established a type and color system that could carry across dozens of shows without competing with their key art, and prototyped the header parallax and detail-page reveal in motion.

Key Contributions

• Designed a full-bleed browse hero with parallax on scroll and clear play/save affordances
• Reworked the detail page as a modal stack so the browse context stays alive underneath
• Established a neutral dark UI palette that lets each title's poster carry the color
• Prototyped key transitions in motion to validate the browse-to-detail-to-player rhythm
