PlayStation Store redesign — perspective mockup

PlayStation Store Redesign — Desktop

Project Overview

A self-initiated redesign of the desktop PlayStation Store, reimagining the storefront around cinematic key art, cleaner information hierarchy, and a modernized purchase flow. The concept treats each product page like a game's marketing site — hero art first, metadata and pricing pulled into a focused right rail — and rethinks the cart and checkout modals to reduce friction between browsing and buying.

Role & Responsibilities

End-to-end UX and visual design. Explored the existing PlayStation Store's navigation model, identified friction points across product pages, cart, and checkout, and iterated on layout, typography, and component patterns until the flow felt cohesive at 2x desktop resolution.

Key Contributions

  • Redesigned the product detail page around large key art with a clear price / edition / add-to-cart hierarchy on the right
  • Reimagined add-to-cart, cart, and confirm-purchase modals to reduce steps and clarify state
  • Explored consistent art treatments across catalog titles (The Last of Us, Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, Destiny, For Honor, Injustice) to stress-test the layout system
  • Built 2x mockups and perspective renders suitable for portfolio and case-study presentation
